Is there a limit on the number of presentations speakers may make at ICE 2016?
Yes, presenters can only present once during ICE. This includes oral, poster, student competition and invited presentations part of symposia.
How do I know if my submission is complete?
Your submission is considered complete once the submission application has been filled out in its entirety and payment has been received by ESA.
If I start my submission and have to exit out before it is completed, can I pick-up where I left off?
Yes. Once you begin your submission, you will receive an email from Confex with instructions on how to log back in to your submission.
Once I have completed my submission, will I be able make any edits/changes?
Yes. You will be able to access your submission and make any edits/changes necessary until the submission site closes on February 1, 2016. You will be able to log back into your submission with using the link provided in the submission email from Confex.
Do I have to register for ICE when I submit my presentation?
No. Registration is not required at the time of submission, but it is recommended. If you choose not to register at the time of submission, your submission will be subject to a one-time only submission fee of $50 US. Please note, the submission fee is non-refundable nor will it be applied to a future ICE registration.
If I have been invited to present in a symposium, do I still need to submit my presentation and abstract online?
No. If you have been invited to present in a symposium, you need to email your presentation title and abstract to the symposium organizer directly. Do not submit your presentation or abstract online.
